 World’s third-largest cricket stadium to be built in Jaipur:



BCCI President Sourav Ganguly along with Ashok Gehlot, Rajasthan Chief Minister laid the foundation stone for an International cricket stadium in Jaipur City. When completed it will be the third-largest cricket stadium in the world and the second-largest cricket stadium in India after Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad. Once Completed the stadium can hold up to 75000 spectators in comparison to the sitting capacity of 132,000 spectators in Narendra Modi Stadium.

More than 100 acres of land along the Jaipur-Delhi bypass was allocated for the establishment of the stadium. It will be built and funded by the Rajasthan Cricket Academy(RIA). As per RIA, the stadium will be built in a sustainable manner with large parking places and vast greenery cover.

SPECIAL NOTES FOR ASPIRANTS:
