World Radio Day observed on 13th February:

Each year to recognize radio as a powerful medium, UNESCO observe World Radio Day on 13 February. Radio is a effective medium which brings people together from every corner of the globe and connect them. The day was Announced in 2011 by UNESCO during its 36th conference, thus February 13 became World Radio Day (WRD).

The theme of World Radio Day 2022 is devoted to Radio and Trust which include three sub-theme- 

1. Trust in radio journalism

2. Trust and accessibility

3.Trust and viability of radio stations
