Observed across the globe on the 1st week of February (1-7th February), the World Interfaith Harmony Week is an annual celebration that aims at bridging a connection among different faiths. Recognising the need for comprehensive dialogue among faiths to build a mutual understanding the United Nations General Assembly(UNGA) give it a designation in 2010. King Abdullah II of Jordan proposed it for the first time to promote culture, peace and nonviolence.

United Nations General Assembly encourage its member state, to spread and upheld the value of interfaith harmony on a voluntary basis and on the conviction of respective religions. A virtual summit under the title of  Faith and spiritual leadership to combat stigma and conflict during pandemic recovery was held, where faith and spiritual leaders from around the world attended the meeting. A hashtag #InterfaithPandemicRecovery was created to spread interfaith messages on social media.
