Rohit Sharma got appointed as India's full-time white-ball captain for the two-match home Test series against Sri Lanka. Earlier he was named the full-time captain in the red-ball format as well. With this, he becomes India's full-time captain in all three formats of cricket. Chairman of All-India Senior Selection Committee Chetan Sharma during the press meet said that there was no discussion on Rohit's appointment and that he was a clear choice.
