RAFAEL NADAL WON THE MEN'S SINGLES TENNIS TITLE AT 2022 AUSTRALIAN OPEN :

      Famous tennis player Rafael Nadal defeated Daniil Medvedev to win the men's singles tennis title at the 2022 Australian Open. He defeated Medvedev 2-6, 6-7 (5-7), 6-4, 6-4, 7-5 in the final to win his second Australian Open title.

      With this, Nadal won his 21st major singles title and broke an all-time record jointly with Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer. Not only that, he became the fourth person after Djokovic, Roy Emerson, and Rod Laver to win the double career Grand Slam and second in the Open era. In addition, he became the first man in the Open era to win the Australian Open final after losing the first two sets.

      Nick Kyrgios and Thanasi Kokkinakis won men's doubles at Australian Open. Ashleigh Barty won the title in women's singles catagory and Barbora Krejčíková and Kateřina Siniaková won the title in women's doubles category. Kristina Mladenovic and Ivan Dodig won the title on mixed doubles category.
