Queen Elizabeth II marked the 70th year of her rule:
Queen Elizabeth II marked her 70th anniversary i.e Platinum Jubilee of rule over The United Kingdom(UK). With this, she becomes the longest-reigning monarch of a sovereign state surpassing Louis XIV of France. She has already made some records during her ruling time like on 21 December 2007 She became the longest-lived British monarch(now aged at 95). In 2017, she became the first British monarch to commemorate a Sapphire Jubilee(65th anniversary). Elizabeth II is the Queen of the United Kingdom and 14 other Commonwealth realms. On 6 February 1952, Elizabeth became queen succeeding her father, King George VI.
