PM Modi addressed the nation by saying that this a new chapter in direction of modern tech enabled agricultural facilities of 21st century. This move will make ways for development drone sector in India.
Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman during her budget 2022-23 lays emphasis on that Govt. of India will promote Kisan Drones, Promote PPP model to deliver digital & high-tech services and natural farming. These kisan drones will be used for digitization of land records, crop assessment, land measurement and spraying nutrients- insecticides.
Drone Shakti-
A scheme which was idealised in Union Budget 2022. Under this initiative govt will promote start-ups working in Drone Sector. Moreover other govt. will also encourage start-ups for Drone-As-A-Service (DrAAS). Courses for skilling will also be offered by Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs).
