Railway Protection Force (RPF) has rescued 1045 kids from Railway stations across India, in the month of January 2022 Under its "Operation Nanhe Farishte".

As per RPF official statements, It saved children who were found alone or were abandoned at the railway stations. Among 1045 kids rescued 701 were boys and 344 were girls. Every year a high number of children's was kidnapped in India. These kidnappers mostly use the rail routes to send these children's from one place to another, as most local trains are till now not that highly protected. So to counter this issue RPF launched Operation Nanhe Farishte.
