LARGEST ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGING STATION HAS BEEN BUILT IN HARYANA'S GURUGRAM :

India's Largest Charging Station


      The largest electric vehicle charging station has been set up at Gurugram in Haryana. This charging station with a capacity of 100 charging points for 4 wheelers has been opened on Delhi-Jaipur National Highway.

      Earlier, the largest EV charging station in India was located at Navi Mumbai with 16 AC and 4 DC charging ports for EVs. The charging station at Gurugram has been built by technology-piloting company Alektrify Pvt. Ltd. According to a company statement, the station is now open for technical inspection for various certification compliance and safety standards with 96 chargers. The station has been set up two weeks ago by the Power Ministry, Government of India, and opened the door for the government or government agencies to offer government land. The company added that the EV charging station would not only boost the electric vehicle industry in the region but also serve as a benchmark for large EV charging stations across the country in the future.
