Kanchoth festival, a three-day-long festival celebrated in Jammu and Kashmir:

Kanchoth Festival, is an ancient festival celebrated every year, particularly by the Nag followers, during the Shukla Paksha of Magh month usually falls in January or February. The festival is celebrated for 3 days long across the Chenab valley region of Jammu and Kashmir (J&K).

During the festival married women pray for the long life of their husbands. Kanchoth or Gauri Tritya is widely celebrated in hilly kishtwar, Ramban and Doda of Jammu province. The festival is celebrated across Bhaderwah (mini-Kashmir),  Mathola,  Kotli, Ghata, Gupt Ganga, Khakhal, Kapra, Chinnote, Bhalra, Chinchora, Bheja, and other regions.
