International Intellectual Property Index 2022 published, Indian ranks 43rd:

Global Innovation Policy Center of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce recently released the International Intellectual Property(IP) Index 2022. Total 55 countries was ranked. United States of Amercia, United Kingdom and Germany got hold of the first three position respectively. India ranked 43 out of 55 countries on the this index, improved its overall IP score from 38.4 per cent previous year to 38.6 per cent this year. On this regard it is important to take note of that, In July 2021, the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Commerce released a Review of the Intellectual Property Rights Regime in India which welcomed the development and offers a comprehensive and detailed study of the strengths and weaknesses of India’s national IP environment.
