India’s First Night Navigation App for Rivers launched by Assam:

Shri Himanta Biswa Sarma, Assam CM recently launched the first Night Navigation mobile app in India. The mobile app will be used for ferry services on the Brahmaputra River in Guwahati, Assam. 

Assam's State Transport Department Dept along with K Raju, an eminent scientist from IIT-Madras developed the app. Ferries will be fitted with the system will help in smooth navigation through the river by detecting the draft of the rivers.

Additional to this, Assam CM also launched Aadhar based contactless services in line with Assam cm vision of providing effortless service to common people
