China Discovered a New Corona Virus Strain Named NeoCov || Some Information about the New Strain and China || 2022 ||

CHINA DISCOVERED A NEW CORONA VIRUS STRAIN NAMED NEOCOV :

      Scientists in Wuhan are warning of a new strain of coronavirus that they believe could be more deadly than Covid-19. Contextually, the coronavirus was reported to have originated from Wuhan.

      The new strain found in Wuhan is named NeoCov. It is related to Middle Eastern Respiratory syndrome or MERS-coronavirus. This new strain was linked to a higher MERS-coronavirus mortality rate and is expected to cause death in one in three patients. In a new research paper, Chinese researchers warned of NeoCov from South Africa. They claimed the virus has apparently high mortality and infection rates. Although the research paper has not yet been peer-reviewed. In addition, it was known that it was first identified in Saudi Arabia in 2012.
