China claimed the AFC Women’s Asian Cup India 2022:

China PR won the AFC Women`s Asian Cup India 2022 by defeating South Korea, as the scoreline read 3-2, to win the final title at the D.Y. Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai, Maharastra. This is the 9th AFC Women`s Asian Cup title won by China, the highest number of titles won in AFC Women's Asian Cup. 

India is the hosting nation of this years AFC Women’s Asian Cup India 2022, held between January 20, 2022, to February 06, 2022. It serves as the qualifying tournament for FIFA World Cup. With the title win, China is now qualified for the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup to be held in Australia and New Zealand.

Asian Football Confederation is the main body that looks after the AFC Women’s Asian Cup. It is the oldest Women's International football tournament in the AFC region held every four years.
