VINAY KUMAR TRIPATHI HAS BEEN APPOINTED AS THE CHAIRMAN AND CEO OF THE RAILWAY BOARD :

      According to a statement, Vinay Kumar Tripathi has been appointed as the Chairman and CEO of the Railway Board. A statement issued by the Ministry of North Eastern Railway said that his appointment letter has been approved by the Cabinet Appointments Committee and he is currently the General Manager.

      He is currently the Chairman of the Railway Board and General Manager of North Eastern Railway. The Railway Board of India is the highest body of Indian Railways, which reports to Parliament through the Ministry of Railways. The Cabinet Appointments Committee has approved extending the term of Vinay Kumar Tripathi till December 31, 2022, instead of approving the appointment for six months from January 1. Vinay Kumar Tripathi is currently the General Manager of North Eastern Railway, Gorakhpur. Vinay Kumar Tripathi did B. Tech from Roorkee and joined Railways in 1983 through the Indian Railway Service of Electrical Engineers (IRSEE) batch. His first post was as an assistant electrical engineer in the Northern Railway.
