SUSHMITA SEN GOT INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF WORKING WOMEN AWARD :

      Actress Sushmita Sen won the International Association of Working Women Award for outstanding performance by a female actor. She won the award in a television series presented by DC South Asian Film Festival 2021, gaining worldwide recognition.

      The action-drama sequel Aarya Season 2 starring Sushmita Sen received equally acclaimed reviews from fans and critics. The series is currently streaming on Disney+ Hotstar. In this series she reclaimed the role and was acclaimed for his performance. Speaking about winning the award, she said, "I am overwhelmed with all the love and appreciation being showered on Aarya 2." The whole team has worked hard to put together a work of art that she hopes everyone will love. "It's euphoric to win the International Association of Working Women Award for outstanding performance by a female actor in a television series" she added.       Contextually, Sushmita Sen starrer Aarya was nominated for the Best Drama Series category at International Emmys 2022 and lost the award to Tehran. Aarya's plot revolves around Sushmita Sen's title character who is trying to save her family after her husband is murdered.
