 Social Housing Project in Mauritius inaugurates Modi and Mauritius PM:

Prime Minister Modi along with Mauritius PM Pravind Kumar Jugnauth virtually inaugurates India assisted Social Housing Project in Mauritius. Besides that, they launched some other projects like a Civil Defence College and an 8 MW solar photovoltaic farm project in Mauritius. Under Social Housing Project govt. will develop a group of houses or apartments, then hand them over to families with very low incomes.

In addition, An agreement of a $190 million Line of Credit was extended by India to Mauritius for the Metro Express Project and some other small developmental work.

Modi during his address pointed out that Mauritius is an integral part of India's maritime cooperation vision i.e SAGAR - Security and Growth for All in Region. He also reiterates that India will always stand by Mauritius in its developmental Aspiration.
