Shri Narendra Goenka takes over as new Chairman of AEPC, Point out on apparel exports pick up in 2022:

Shri Narendra Kumar Goenka took charge of the Apparel Export Promotion Council (AEPC) as its new Chairman, replacing Dr A Sakthivel.

In his maiden meeting, Mr Goenka said that the major turnaround in apparel exports was possible due to the highly efficient management by the government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the entrepreneurial spirit of the apparel exporters.

AEPC is the official body of apparel exporters in India, under the Ministry of Textiles, that provides assistance to Indian exporters as well as importers.
