PRADHAN MANTRI RASHTRIYA BAL PURASKAR, 2022:
Like every year, on the eve of the Republic day celebration, the winner for PRADHAN MANTRI RASHTRIYA BAL PURASKAR has been selected.
This year 29 Children have been conferred with Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar, selected for their exceptional achievements in Innovation, Social Service, Scholastic, Sports, Art & Culture and Bravery categories. The list of awardees consists of 15 Boys and 14 Girls.
Amidst the COVID pandemic, this year award ceremony was held virtually. The Awardees of 2021 and 2022 along with their parents and concerned District Magistrate of their district joined the event from their district Head Quarters. During the virtual event, PM Narendra Modi gave digital certificates to the winners of PRADHAN MANTRI RASHTRIYA BAL PURASKAR 2021 and 2022 using Block Chain-driven technology developed by IIT Kanpur under the National Blockchain Project. A cash prize of one lakh rupee was also given to awardees.
