INDIA HAS BEEN RANKED 85TH IN CORRUPTION PERCEPTIONS INDEX (CPI) 2021 :
Transparency International has released the Corruption Perceptions Index (CPI). India has been ranked 85th in this.
This ranking is prepared keeping in mind how corrupt the government of each country is. Denmark, Finland and New Zealand have topped the ranking with 88 scores. 180 countries have been ranked in this ranking. In this ranking, the result 0 means the government of that country is very corrupt and the result 100 means the government is very clean. Contextually, for the year 2020, India was ranked 86th in ranking last year with a score of 40. So this time the index has showed that the level of corruption stabilized worldwide. The global average has remained unchanged at 43 out of 100 points for 10 consecutive years.
