Grand Statue of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose at India Gate:
A grand statue of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose will be constructed in front of India Gate in New Delhi, To mark India's indebtedness to him.
The statue will be made of granite and will be installed under the canopy that earlier housed a statue of George V, which was removed earlier. The dimension of the statue will be 28 feet by 6 feet.
Though the statue will take some time to be made so in between that a hologram statue of Netaji will be unveiled by PM Modi at India Gate on 23rd January, the 125th birth anniversary of Netaji.
Earlier the government announced that Netaji's birth anniversary, January 23, would mark the start of Republic Day celebrations. *Netaji's birthday celebrated as "Parakram Divas".
SPECIAL NOTES FOR ASPIRANTS:
