      The G7 Summit 2022 is set to take place in Germany as the last G7 Summit was held in June 2015 under the German Presidentship. The 2022 summit will be held in Schloss Elmou, Germany's Bavarian Alps.

      G7 full name Group of Seven is an intergovernmental political forum consisting of Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, United Kingdom, and the United States. The members of the Group of Seven (G7) are the world's largest IMF-developed economies and rich liberal democracies and the group is formally organized around the shared values ​​of pluralism and representative government. The 2022 Summit is the 48th edition of the G7 Summit. In 1978, the G7 heads of state and government met for the first time in Bonn under the German Presidency. Incidentally, the European Union has also represented at all G7 meetings. The presidency of the G7 rotates among members every year, as Germany has assumed the presidency from the UK in 2022. Again in 2023 Japan will take over the presidency from Germany.
