ANUP BAGCHI HAS BEEN REAPPOINTED AS ICICI BANK'S EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR :

      Anup Bagchi has been re-appointed as the Executive Director of ICICI Bank with effect from 1st February 2022. The RBI has approved his re-appointment as the bank's executive director for three years. The bank has even cleared the term for five years.

      According to ICICI Bank, the Reserve Bank has issued a letter on Thursday, January 6, 2022. In this letter, the Reserve Bank has approved the re-appointment of Bagchi as the Executive Director of the Bank for a period of three years from 1st February. In August 2021, the bank's shareholders approved Bagchi's re-appointment for five years at the bank's Annual General Meeting.

      Contextually, ICICI Bank Limited is an Indian multinational bank and financial services company. The bank's work is to provide a wide range of banking products and financial services to corporate and retail customers through various delivery channels and specialized wings in the areas of investment banking, life, non-life insurance, venture capital and asset management. The bank currently has two more executive directors named Sandeep Batra and Vishakha Mulye.
