Amir Subhani Has Been Appointed as Chief Secretary of Bihar || Some Information about Subhani and Bihar || 2022 ||

AMIR SUBHANI HAS BEEN APPOINTED AS CHIEF SECRETARY OF BIHAR :

      Amir Subhani has taken over as the new Chief Secretary of Bihar from January 1, 2022. He was earlier the development commissioner and the State Government has decided to promote him to the post of Chief Secretary on 30 December 2021. After the resignation of Tripurari Sharan as Chief Secretary on 31 December, Subhani has taken over this post. Atul Prasad has been appointed as development commissioner post.

      Amir Subhani, the topper of the 1987-batch civil service examination, had earlier held additional charges of vigilance and prohibition, excise & registration departments. Bihar State Government has transferred and posted IAS officers at the level of Secretary, Joint Secretary, DM, and DDC as well as given additional charges to heads of various departments. The state government has given additional charge of vigilance department to ACS Chaitanya Prasad of Home Department and also gave additional charge of BIPARD to Chief Secretary to Chief Minister Chanchal Kumar. Also, Sandeep Paundrik, principal secretary, planning and development, has been made principal secretary, department of social welfare, and Sanjay Kumar Agarwal, secretary, transport, has been made Secretary, water resources department. Earlier, Sanjeev Hans was the secretary of, water resources department and now he is the secretary of, department of energy.
