AFC WOMEN'S ASIAN CUP 2022 IS BEING HELD IN INDIA :

      AFC Women's Asian Cup 2022 started on 20 January and will continue till 6 February. The tournament is being held in India for the second time and this is the first time the Indian women's team is participating in the tournament. Earlier, the tournament was held in India in 1979.

      A total of 12 teams are vying to win the prestigious trophy in the 20th edition of the AFC Women's Asian Cup. The tournament is being held behind closed doors due to Covid-19 and the final will be held at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai. The matches of the tournament are being held at Mumbai Football Arena in Mumbai, DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai and Sri Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex in Pune. The match time for this tournament is either 1:30 PM, 3:30 PM, 5:30 PM or 7:30 PM IST and being broadcast live on Discovery Network's Eurosport India.
