SANJEEV KAUSHAL HAS BEEN APPOINTED AS CHIEF SECRETARY OF HARYANA :
Sanjeev Kaushal has been appointed as the Chief Secretary of Haryana. Kaushal is a 1986 batch IAS officer and he is among the Haryana officials who were selected by two chief ministers for key post. During the INLD regime, he was elected as additional principal secretary to the then Chief Minister Om Parkash Chautala.
Kaushal has taken charge of the CS office from Vijai Vardhan. Vardhan has been fired on Tuesday 30 November. Kaushal was earlier in charge of ACS (Revenue and Disaster Management), now his place has been given to P K Das. The Governor of Haryana has released the transfer and posting orders of Kaushal and Das. Prior to the reshuffle, Manohar Lal Khattar-led BJP government had appointed Kaushal as the chief secretary to the Chief Minister, even after the reshuffle, he was given responsible and heavy postings and was close to CM Khattar. He has experience of working with two state governments and as Joint Secretary to the Government of India, as Managing Director of two major Public Sector Undertakings, etc.
