RAJNISH KUMAR HAS BEEN APPOINTED AS INDEPENDENT NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF HERO MOTOCORP LIMITED :

      Rajnish Kumar, former chairman of State Bank of India (SBI), has been appointed as an independent non-executive director of Hero MotoCorp Limited. India's leading two-wheeler manufacturer Hero MotoCorp Limited has announced his appointment on Friday, November 26, saying that Vasudha Dinodia has been appointed as an additional and non-executive director from November 25.

      Rajnish Kumar was the chairman of SBI for a term of three years. That term ended in October 2020. He has been highly praised for successfully managing the bank in those challenging times and for embracing key technological changes. During his three-year tenure, SBI developed a digital platform called YONO. The platform has made SBI a global leader in the adoption of technology and innovation. Kumar is currently the non-executive chairman of Resilient Innovations (BharatPe) as well as an independent director on the boards of several companies such as HSBC, Asia Pacific, L&T Infotech. According to the company, Vasudha Dinodia is a shrewd marketing strategist and the third generation entrepreneur of the prominent Munjal Family. Proof of his prudence is that he has scaled Choko La to worldwide recognition. The premier chocolate brand has a presence in the United States, Europe and Asia. Hero MotoCorp also said that Camille Tang has recently been appointed as an independent non-executive director of the company. With decades of rich and diverse global experience in various sectors such as finance, retail, technology and Artificial Intelligence (AI), Tang is currently an advisor on software and white label SaaS startups in Canada, the United States.
