PV SINDHU HAS GOT A SILVER MEDAL IN THE BWF WORLD TOUR FINALS 2021 :

      Indian famous badminton player PV Sindhu has won a silver medal at BWF World Tour Finals 2021. She has lost to South Korea's An Seyoung in the final and won the silver medal, she has humbly lost to An at 16-21 12-21.

      A Grade 2 badminton tournament series, approved by the Badminton World Federation (BWF), the BWF World Tour is an open competition for the world's top players in singles (men's and women's) and doubles (men's, women's and mixed). The tournament was announced on 19 March 2017, then took effect in 2018. Instead of the BWF Super Series held from 2007 to 2017, this tournament was started. The 2021 tournament was the 4th edition of the tournament and has been held in Bali, Indonesia. South Korea's An Seyoung has been in great form since the start of the tournament final, in addition to playing the net, she has been in great form in the baseline game. She has finished the game in just 39 minutes without giving Indian shuttler PV Sindhu a chance to comeback and snatched the gold medal. She also defeated current world champion PV Sindhu in the quarter-finals of the Denmark Open in October. Sindhu, however, has reached the final three times in this tournament and became the first and only Indian till now to win the title in 2018. Incidentally, Victor Axelsen has won the BWF World Tour Finals title.
