Which state has ranked top in India Skills Report 2022

MAHARASHTRA HAS  RANKED TOP IN INDIA SKILLS REPORT 2022 :

      Maharashtra has topped in India Skills Report 2022. Maharashtra has abled to retain the top position in the report with an employment rate of 66.1%. There, Uttar Pradesh, Kerala, West Bengal and Karnataka has been ranked second, third, fourth and fifth respectively with their employment rates of 65.2, 64.2, 63.8 and 59.3 percent respectively.

      India Skills Report is a detailed report on the future of work, education and skilling that is in line with the demand and supply of talent in a growing India, which has been published annually since 2016. The 2022 edition was the ninth edition of the India Skills Report (ISR for short), this time the theme was "Rebuilding and Reengineering the Future of Work". ISR 2022 has been published by Wheebox in a joint effort with several organisations such as United Nations Development Programme, Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Confederation of Indian Industry, All India Council for Technical Education and Association of Indian Universities. According to this ISR 2022, Delhi, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Gujarat and Haryana has been ranked 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th and 10th in the employment rate category respectively, note that Delhi was considered as a state here. Pune has topped the list of top cities in the category of young people with high employment, there, Lucknow and Thiruvananthapuram were ranked second and third respectively. However, ISR has expressed concern over employment opportunities in Andhra Pradesh and Kerala, where the unemployment rate of Kerala is 15.77%. According to the report, while Kerala has high proficiency in English, the state lacks mathematical skills and computer proficiency.
