STATE BANK OF INDIA HAS INITIATED VIDEO LIFE CERTIFICATE FACILITY :
State Bank of India (SBI) has announced the launch of Video Life Certificate (VLC) facility. State Bank of India, the country's largest lender, has announced this facility to enable millions of pensioners to experience life certificate submission without any hassle.
Pensioners can complete the process of submitting life certificate through video call with SBI staff at their convenience in their respective homes. As a result, they will not have to go to the bank branch and stand in a long line. Dinesh Kumar Khara, Chairman of SBI, gave his views on the launch of the initiative. According to him, SBI is excited to launch another strategic customer-centric initiative for the benefit of senior citizens. Elderly people will not have to rush to the bank branches during Covid-19, they will be able to digitally complete their life certificate work. For Life Certificate first they have to log in to www.pensionseva.sbi website then click on "Video LC" option and enter their own SBI Pension Account Number, after entering the OTP on the mobile, they will have to read the "terms and conditions" thoroughly and click on the "Start Journey" option. Then to start the video call, they will have to click on the "I am ready" option and give the necessary permissions. Remember, pensioners need to have their original PAN card with them.
