Sheel Vardhan Singh Was Appointed as The Director General of CISF || Some Information about Sheel Vardhan Singh and CISF || 2021 ||

SHEEL VARDHAN SINGH WAS APPOINTED AS THE DIRECTOR GENERAL OF CISF :

      Sheel Vardhan Singh has been appointed Director General of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF). The Home Ministry had applied to the ministry for the appointment of Sheel Vardhan Singh as DG of CISF. Recently, the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the application. He was the Special Director at the Intelligence Bureau (IB).

      A statement from the Cabinet Appointments Committee said that since Sheel Vardhan Singh joined the CISF as DG, he has been at the 17th level of the pay matrix till the date of his dismissal or subsequent order. He will be the DG of CISF till 31.08.2023. The purpose behind the formation of the CISF is to provide integrated security to the specified sensitive public sector with the strength of only three battalions. CISF currently employs about 1,63,590 people and it provides security to 352 organizations. CISF has its own fire wing with which it provides adequate services to 104 out of 352 organizations.
