SALMAN KHAN HAS BEEN APPOINTED AS AMBASSADOR OF COVID VACCINATION IN MAHARASHTRA :
The Maharashtra state government has decided to appoint Salman Khan as ambassador for Covid vaccination. The decision has been taken by the Maharashtra state government on November 17 to encourage the Muslim community in Maharashtra to take vaccine shots.
The number of vaccinated people in Maharashtra is very high, as a result of which Maharashtra is ahead in terms of vaccination in the country but vaccination rate is low in some areas. Rajesh Tope gave a speech to PTI. He said the Maharashtra state government wants to use Salman Khan and religious leaders to persuade the Muslim community to get vaccinated. According to a report, more than 10.25 crore doses have been given in Maharashtra so far. With this, the Maharashtra state government has promised to give at least the first dose to all eligible people by the end of November. The Covid pandemic has spread to every corner of the World, including India. The disease, which came from China, has also claimed many lives in India. The Covid vaccine is being used to create immunity against Covid viruses in the human body. As of November 19, 12,789 people has recovered from Covid but 459 died.
