International Cricket Council Has Appointed Geoff Allardice as Permanent Chief Executive Officer || Some Information about Geoff Allardice and His Reaction || 2021 ||

INTERNATIONAL CRICKET COUNCIL HAS APPOINTED GEOFF ALLARDICE AS PERMANENT CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER :

      International Cricket Council (ICC) has appointed Geoff Allardice as the permanent Chief Executive Officer (CEO). The decision has been made after he served on an interim basis for more than eight months. The news has been announced by the governing body of the game on Sunday, November 21.

      Allardice has occupied the position of Manu Sawhney. Sawhney had resigned as the CEO of the ICC in July. Geoff Allardice was born on May 7, 1967 in Melbourne, Australia, he is a former first-class cricketer. He was the General Manager (GM) of the ICC for eight years, having previously held similar position in Cricket Australia (CA). The governing body has issued a statement in which Allardice expressed his views. He said that he is delighted to be the CEO of the ICC, and would like to thank ICC Chairman Greg Barclay and the ICC Board for the opportunity to lead the sport. This is because the cricket world is entering an exciting new stage of growth. He also thanked the ICC staff for their commitment and support over the past eight months. He is looking forward to run cricket service with a talented team.
