Indore Has Become The Most Cleanest City in India as Per Swachh Survekshan 2021 || Some Information about Indore and Swachh Survekshan || 2021 ||

INDORE HAS BECOME THE MOST CLEANEST CITY IN INDIA AS PER SWACHH SURVEKSHAN 2021 :

      Indore has recently been declared as the cleanest city in India. With this, it has been selected as the cleanest city for five times. Surat in Gujarat has been selected as the second city and Vijaywada in Andhra Pradesh as the third city.

      The Swachh Survekshan awards 2021 have been presented at a ceremony in New Delhi. The awards have been presented by President Ram Nath Kovind himself. This Swachh Survekshan was launched as part of the Centre's Swachh Bharat Mission, this is an annual survey which covers the rates of cleanliness, hygiene and sanitation in all the cities of the country. Its goal is to clean up India and stop open defecation. Swachh Survekshan 2021 has covered 4,320 cities in 28 days. More than 4.2 crore people have responded to this. According to the latest survey, Navi Mumbai has lost its third position and reached its fourth position. Vijaywada has taken that third place. Lucknow has finished much lower in the same category. Meanwhile, among the cities with a population of less than 1 lakh, the cleanest city is Vita in Maharashtra, followed by Lonavla in the same state and Saswad in the third.

• According to Swachh Survekshan, the top 10 cities are Indore, Surat, Vijaywada, Navi Mumbai, Pune, Raipur, Bhopal, Vadodara, Visakhapatnam and Ahmedabad.

Indore is the most populous and largest city in Madhya Pradesh.

• The mayor of Indore is Malini Gaur.

• The District Collector of Indore is Manish Singh.

• Indore is located in the Malwa region.
