FACEBOOK HAS B CHANGED ITS NAME TO META :
Recently, the name of Facebook has been changed to 'meta'. Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg has announced this on October 28, 2021. Also a rebrand called 'metaverse' has been created. The main purpose of this 'metaverse' is to focus on creating a virtual environment.
Facebook is a popular social media site. Facebook helps people from all over the world to connect with each other by forming friend circles. Earlier, Facebook also said in a press release that it has some plans to start business under the stock ticker 'MVRS' from December 1. The main purpose of the name change is to legislate on Facebook's market capabilities, algorithmic decisions and the policing of abuses in its services. The word 'metaverse' is derived from the dystopian novel 'Snow Crash'. The new name comes from the Greek word 'beyond', this 'metaverse' refers to the creation of a broadly distributed virtual environment. People in different places will be able to access this virtual environment with their own devices.
