Where has the first food museum set up in India ?

COUNTRY'S FIRST FOOD MUSEUM HAS BEEN SET UP IN TAMIL NADU :

      The country's first food museum has recently been inaugurated. Union Minister for Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution Piyush Goyal has announced the inauguration on November 15 in Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu via video conference. The museum was established by the Food Corporation of India.

      A total of Rs 1.10 crore has been spent on the construction of the Food Museum and it is built on an area of ​​1,860 sq ft. The museum is co-developed by FCI and Visvesvaraya Industrial and Technological Museums. This museum shows how nomadic hunters evolved into ordinary people based on the colonial farming system. The museum also displays ancient grain storage methods. The museum digitally displays FCI's current activities. It also displays information on how food grains reach from the farm to the plate. The general public will be able to enter this museum for free. The museum is equipped with state-of-the-art technology including radio frequency identification, touchscreen kiosk, proximity sensor and touch sensor for the benefit of school and college students as well as the general public.
