PERSON TOOK OVER AS THE NEW MANAGING DIRECTOR OF LIC :

     The oldest and largest life insurance company in India LIC said in a statement on Friday that B.C. Patnaik took over as the new Managing Director of LIC. LIC also said in statement that he was appointed as the Managing Director on 5 July 2021 vide a government notification.

      B. C. Patnaik was born in Bhaliakhai village which is near to Bhanjanagar of Ganjam district. Prior to taking up this post, he was the Director of LIC's Zonal Training Center, North Central Zone in Agra. He joined LIC as a Direct Recruit Officer in 1986 and over three decades of his carrier span, he occupied several important positions in Marketing, Sales, New Business, Personnel, Pension and Customer Relationship Management. According to a release, his respect for his work, innovative intelligence, popularity, and customer service have helped him to build this successful carrier. Currently, LIC has a Chairman and four Managing Directors.
