MANIPUR LAUNCHED "CM's HEALTH FOR ALL" PROJECT :

      Chief Minister of Manipur N. Biren Singh has recently launched the "CM's Health for All" project. He said the project would cover 64 villages in 16 districts of the state.

      According to him, it will focus on early detection, treatment and follow-up of the disease through early human door-to-door visits. Beneficiaries will also be given free medicine if they are diagnosed with any disease, he added. To implement this project, the Chief Minister has distributed quality medical equipment and other equipments for the healthcare workers. Additional Chief Secretary of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare V Vumlunmang said in a statement that they are using IT platform for telemedicine, National Health Mission, NCD, eSanjeevani and all these will be combined to serve the people of Manipur. The Manipur State Government launched a scheme in early 2018 under which eligible families were provided health protection up to Rs 2 lakh per annum for seven deadly diseases. As of August, about 41,9000 beneficiaries had registered themselves for the project.
