WORLD SPACE WEEK :

World Space Week is celebrated around the world every year from October 4 to October 10. This week is celebrated as an annual holiday in more than 95 countries around the world. This week is described as an international celebration of science and technology and their contributions to improve the human condition.

On December 6, 1999, the United Nations General Assembly declared October 4 to October 10 as World Space Week. There were two main reasons for choosing these two dates. The first man-made artificial satellite, Sputnik 1, was launched on October 4, 1957, and the Outer Space Treaty was signed on October 10, 1967, that's why October 4 and October 10 were chosen for this World Space Week. This event is the largest annual space event in the world.
