INTERNATIONAL COFFEE DAY :
On October 1st, International Coffee Day is celebrated to recall the contributions of all kinds of people involved in the coffee business, their activities and recognition. International Coffee Day was first celebrated around the world on October 1st, 2015 and was began in Milan. From March 3 to March 7, 2014, a decision was taken by the International Coffee Organization that International Coffee Day would be celebrated around the world.
International Coffee Day is not yet known exactly when it was celebrated. It is believed that it was first promoted in Japan in 1983 by the Japan Coffee Association. Coffee is very popular all over the world, after tea it is the most popular drink. Coffee cherries are picked from the tree, are dried in the sun and roasted, then the seeds are separated and crushed. These powdered seeds are mixed with water to make coffee.

• It was named as "International Coffee Day" by Southern Food and Beverage Museum.
• Coffee seeds are obtained from a tree called coffee cherry.

• Coffee contains a stimulant called caffeine. 8 ounces of coffee contains about 135 mg of caffeine.
