ISRAEL HAS DECLARED CLIMATE CHANGE AS A NATIONAL SECURITY ISSUE :

      Israel has recently called climate change a national security issue. In addition, Israel has promised to facilitate investment in green energy. The Israeli government has decided to set up working groups to monitor climate change.

      A few days before the COP26 global climate summit, the Israeli government announced the formation of working groups. The global climate summit is going to be held in Glasgow and will be attended by Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett. Bennett sees climate change as a national security issue. He said that climate crisis is one of the most important issues in the world and this climate crisis is affecting the lives of all. He added that Israel is determined to deal with it. The Israeli government expects success in the green sector as Israel has already achieved international success in a number of sectors, including the high-tech sector, cyber-security. According to Environment Minister Tamar Zandberg, the government is preparing to tackle climate change.
