INDONESIA WON THE THOMAS CUP TROPHY 2020 :

      Indonesia is the most successful country in the history of men's badminton championships. Indonesia has won a total of 14 titles.

      The Thomas Cup is an international badminton competition. The Thomas Cup is sometimes called the World Men's Team Championship. The championship is organized between the teams representing the Badminton World Federation. The cup was donated in 1939 to the men's badminton team competition organized by the International Badminton Federation (IBF) under the leadership of George Thomas. This time Thomas was the president of the championship. The first tournament was held in 1948-49 and Malaya won the tournament. The tournament is held every two years.

SPECIAL NOTES FOR ASPIRANTS :

• Indonesia beat China to win the title.

• A total of 16 countries participated in it.

• The final match was held in Aarhus, Denmark.

• Indonesia had won the Thomas Cup in 2002, again they won the tournament 19 years later.
