INDIA WON SAFF CHAMPIONSHIP TITLE 2021 :
India won the 2021 SAFF Championship against Nepal, scoring 3-0.
SAFF is the football federation of the main national association football competition of the men's national football team, managed by South Asia. SAFF Championship stands for South Asian Football Federation Championship (formerly known as South Asian Association of Regional Co-operation Gold Cup and SAFF Gold Cup).
India beat Nepal 3-0 to win their eighth SAFF Championship. India won the championship with goals from Sunil Chhetri, Suresh Singh and Sahal Abdul Samad in the second half. Sunil Chhetri opened the scoring in the 49th minute, then doubled the lead a minute later by Suresh Singh. Sahal Abdul Samad scored a goal against some of Nepal's defenders as a result, India won.
