GULAB CYCLONE :

      Many types of cyclone storms like Bulbul, Titli, Fani have been named by India. Similarly, Gulab Cyclone has been given by Pakistan.

      Cyclone Gulab has caused the most damage in Odisha, Andhra Pradesh and Telengana. Maharashtra suffered heavy rains and floods on Tuesday. A statement from the state disaster management authority said 13 people and 206 livestock were lost their lives in floods. A total of 8 districts, including six in Maharashtra, have been devastated by the cyclone. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) said on Tuesday evening that heavy rains are expected in the next 24 hours in Mumbai and other parts of the coastal Konkan region of Maharashtra along with Marathwada. Cyclone Gulab weakened into a depression, the IMD has issued a heavy rains warning in parts of Maharashtra for September 28 and September 29.
