Vijay Cultural Festival organized by Indian Army in Kolkata

VIJAY CULTURAL FESTIVAL :

      The Indian Army is celebrating the Golden Victory Year to memorialize the 50 years of the historic victory against Pakistan in 1971 war. In this order, the Eastern Command Headquarters of the Army is going to arrange Vijay Cultural Festival in Kolkata.

      This festival is being organized from 26 September to 29 September in the Nandan and Rabindra Sadan auditorium of the metropolis. This information is stated in a statement issued by the Eastern Army Command.

      It is said that this is a unique film festival organized by the Army for the first time during this festival, in which popular films related to war will be screened.

SPECIAL NOTES FOR ASPIRANTS :

• The opening ceremony has seen a new collaboration between the Civil and Army band.

• A new theater play has also been prepared by RSR group. On the next day, a rock band team will also perform at this event.

• The headquarters of Indian Army is located in New Delhi.

• It was established on 1 April in 1895.

• The motto is "Service before self".

• The Chief of the Indian Army staff is General Manoj Mukund Naravane.

• Chief of Defense Staff is General Bipin Rawat.

• Vice Chief of Army Staff Lieutenant is General Chandi Prashad Mohanty.
