West Bengal police constable and constable exam pattern comprise four different selection stages to qualify for the examination. Written test for the constable and lady constable examination 2021

• The examination consists of a hundred questions
• It will be multiple choice type question
• Every question worth one mark
• One marks will be deducted for every four wrong answers
• There will be no negative marks for the unattempt questions
• Paper will be set in Bengali and Nepali language
• Time duration will be 1 hour

General awareness and knowledge will consist of 50 marks.

 Along with this physical measurements board also requires the candidates to prove their physical fitness during the physical efficiency test. In the  physical fitness  test  the male candidates have to cover a distance of 1600 meters in under 6 minutes and 30 seconds by running. It is 800 meters in 4 minutes for female candidates. Shortlisted candidates will then be qualified for the final written examination.
