The questions in the preliminary written examination for the constable lady constable examination 2021 will be based on three topics. West West Bengal police constable and lady constable exam pattern 2021.

West Bengal police constable and constable exam pattern comprises four different selection stages to qualify for the examination. We have already discussed about the pattern of the exams and now we will discuss about the number division for the every topics of the preliminary examination and as well as the final examination.

Written test for the constable and lady constable examination 2021

• Examination consists of hundred questions

• It will be multiple choice type question

• Every question worth one mark

• One marks will be deducted for every four wrong answers

• There will be no negative marks for the un attempted questions

• Paper will be set in Bengali and Nepali language

• Time duration will be 1 hour

Number division for each topics

Basically there will be 3 topics in the preliminary examination for the constable and lady constable recruitment 2021 examination. The topics are general awareness and knowledge ,elementary mathematics and reasoning ability.

General awareness and knowledge will consist of 50 marks.

There will be 25 questions from elementary mathematics and there will be 25 questions from reasoning ability.

This preliminary test is only  qualifying in nature. The marks obtained in this examination will not be considered while preparing the final merit list.

State candidates will be called for physical efficiency test which is called PMT /PET. Details physical measurement that the candidates must posses are as follows-

Along with this physical measurements board also requires the candidates to prove their physical fitness during the physical efficiency test. the physical fitness the candidates have to cover a distance of 1600 meter in under 6 minutes and 30 seconds by running. It is 800 meter in 4 minutes for the post of Lady Constable. Shortlisted candidates will then be qualified for the final written examination. The question pattern for the final written examination are as follows.

FINAL WRITTEN EXAMINATION : - Full Marks – 85; All the candidates who qualify in the Physical Measurement Test (PMT) & Physical Efficiency Test (PET) will be called to appear in the Final Written Examination to be conducted by the West Bengal Police Recruitment Board. The Final Written Examination will have 85 (eighty five) Multiple Choice (Four choices) Objective Type Questions (MCQs) carrying 01 (one) mark each. The duration of the examination will be 1 (One) hour. Question paper will be set in two languages (Bengali & Nepali) except questions on English language. Question of the Final Written Examination shall be from the following subjects:- A. General Awareness and General Knowledge - 25 Marks B. English - 25 Marks C. Elementary Mathematics (Madhyamik standard) - 20 Marks D. Reasoning and Logical Analysis - 15 Marks Note: - There will be NEGATIVE marking for each incorrect answer. ¼th of the allotted marks for a particular question will be deducted for each incorrect answer. West Bengal Police Recruitment Board will decide the prescribed scheme and syllabus for the Final Written Examination.
